Over the weekend we replaced the carpet in a rental property with our exclusive carpet, Kings Park. The old carpet was tired and worn and had it’s last leg after some flooding from the bathroom. We put in the new carpet and expect it to look as good as new for a long time to come! It’s interesting to note that even with the darker carpet, the rooms still look bright and welcoming. Darker carpet with hints of lighter tones will pick up on lighter wall colours and reflect the light, so you don’t need to worry too much about dark carpet making a room look drab. That way you get the best of both worlds with a stain-hiding colour palate that keeps the room looking bright!
